We all instinctively know that the delivery of digital media via the internet is significantly cheaper than through off-line retail channels. It's
not just the cost of the cd, dvd, packaging and paper manual that is eliminated but also that of the chain of developer/artist, publisher, wholesaler and
retailer. But so far there are few media products that take advantage of this.
That's because most sales are still off-line and retailers will not stock items if there is a cheaper internet option. Publishers will simply not risk the
loss of these off-line sales to gain a few on-line.

For some time SaaP Online has used a subscription service to give gamers the benefit of the cheaper delivery but, like many other subscription services it's
had limited success.
But with the advent of the iphone and the ipad, where apps are delivered on-line, we've eventually seen publishers use the sub $10 price point.
So, we too have bitten the bullet and gone with the flow and have set the price of SaaP to just $Au9.99 . That's around $US10 or 7 Pounds Stirling or 8 Euros.
